Open house during the Christmas season
Mo. 04.12. – Sa. 09.12. Open House
On the occasion of our 30th company anniversary, we cordially invite you to our premises from Monday, December 4th to Saturday, December 9th!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers and friends and to offer you the chance to exchange ideas and celebrate with us.
Of course, there will be guided tours of the workshop and the unique opportunity to examine three Paul McNulty instruments. The instruments will be presented by pianist Viviana Sofronitsky, who has extensive experience with historical keyboard instruments (only on 8.12. and 9.12.).
Come along and celebrate with us!
There is also a -10% promotion on all new instruments this week 😉.
McNulty Besuch visit to us
On December 8 and 9, you will have the chance to marvel at three Paul McNulty instruments in our showroom. Viviana Sofronitsky will be on hand to explain all about the instruments and will also treat us to some musical samples. These include two Graf instruments and a Pleyel grand piano. Here you can find more detailed descriptions on the Paul McNulty website.

News – Topics lead and ivory
In recent years in particular, there have been some changes for musical instrument makers.
The pernambuco wood conservation issue only affected bow makers and violin makers. The situation is different when it comes to a ban on lead, which was highly topical until recently. In this case, not only organ building but also piano making would be severely affected. As the picture clearly shows, there are lead nubs in the damping and in the keys. Hardly a piano has been built without these weights for around 150 years.
Other metals are already being used in new production, but a technically and economically viable alternative solution for existing instruments is virtually impossible. At present, further legal provisions have been postponed.
Furthermore, we must not lose sight of the stricter regulation regarding ivory on December 31, 2021.
We and our entire team wish you a wonderful pre-Christmas season and remain with
