We are happy to have been part of this project through our repair and restoration work!
In 1938, Concordia President Leopold Lipschütz had to flee from the National Socialists. Lipschütz was co-founder and editor-in-chief of the Kronen Zeitung and a committed member of Concordia for over 40 years. He had to leave his possessions behind, including a Bösendorfer grand piano from 1911, which had also been used for Concordia charity events. His grandson Salvador now presented Concordia with the grand piano we had renovated as a memento of his grandfather – with the wish that it would once again serve Concordia and support it in its goals.
