Heinz Letuha
Master piano builder

Started training at Bösendorfer 1980. Thereafter worked in production. As well as working in finishing, tuning and intonation he was involved in working on computer-supported instruments.
In 1991 came a new area of responsibility in research and development in the Bösendorfer factory in Wiener Neustadt.
After the master’s examination in 1993 he became self-employed.
2001 Founding member of KVO (Piano Builders Association Austria)
Since 2009 examination board for final apprenticeship and master examination piano builders
Since 2010 lecturer in piano construction University of Music and Dramatic Arts in Vienna at the 04 institute for keyboard instruments.

Martin Müller
Master piano builder

Started training at Bösendorfer in 1982. After qualifying he worked mainly as a concert technician for Bösendorfer, including work abroad for well-known artists and music colleges as well as work in the department for computer pianos.
Self-employment after 1993 and in 1998 successfully completed the master’s examination.

Christian Schmid
Concert technician

Started training at Vienna Piano Team in 1999. After qualifying worked for die klaviermachermeister (formerly VPT) and as a concert tuner for the University of Music in Vienna.

Georg Glaser
Piano maker

Started training at Vienna Piano Team in February 2006. At the end of March 2009 he passed his final examination with distinction.
From 2005 to 2010 student of Prof. Karl Steininger, preparation course for trumpet at the Conservatory of Vienna.

Nils Bucksch
Piano maker

Training at Steinway & Sons in Hamburg from September 1998 to January 2002. After his final examination piano maker in Zurich and Basel. From 2005 to 2009 piano maker at Steinway & Sons in Vienna. Since June 2009 part of the team of die klaviermachermeister.

In April 2002 completed her studies in journalism and commumication science as well as dramatics at the University of Vienna. Since April 2008 freelance work for die klaviermachermeister, since September 2009 employed. 2011 content manager projectsdone. Since Nov. 2011 webmaster for www.klavierwiki.at . Since Jan 2012 marketing The Siesta Group.

Hannes Otahal
Piano teacher and musical advisor

From 1981 to 1987 studies of piano performance in Vienna. Work with the most common styles of music and their interpretation on the piano for many years. Many concerts, telerecordings and

Robbert Westera
Concert technician

Took over his father’s piano business in 2001. The business, which has existed for 25 years, is in Winterswejk in the Netherlands. Mr. Westera is a great support for us with his international experience in his role of taking care of the instruments for the most important Austrian institutions.
